About LearnGolf | Our Mission to Modernize Golf Instruction

Why we built LearnGolf

Finding a great golf instructor shouldn't require a country club membership or a friend-of-a-friend recommendation. We built LearnGolf because we believe every golfer deserves access to quality instruction, regardless of where they live or what courses they play.

Before LearnGolf, finding a local instructor meant calling pro shops, scrolling through outdated directories, or hoping your buddy's coach had an opening. We wanted to build the experience golfers actually deserve: browse verified professionals, read real reviews, compare pricing, and book a lesson in seconds.

Today, LearnGolf lists 580+ PGA and LPGA instructors across 140+ cities in the United States. Instructor profiles start from public PGA and LPGA directories and recognized teaching lists, and instructors can claim their profile to manage their own rates, availability, and bio.

How we list instructors

Credentialed Pros

Every listing includes a PGA, LPGA, or equivalent professional credential, sourced from public PGA and LPGA directories.

Recognized Teachers

Our directory includes teachers named to GOLF Magazine's Top 100, Golf Digest's Best in State, and the LPGA Top 50 Teachers lists.

Student Reviews

Real reviews from real students. We don't allow anonymous reviews or fake ratings. Every review is tied to a verified lesson booking.

Are you an instructor?

LearnGolf helps certified instructors grow their business with a professional profile, student reviews, and direct booking. No monthly fees. We only take a platform fee when a student books and pays through LearnGolf.

If you already have a profile on LearnGolf (we may have listed you from public PGA directories), you can claim it and take full control of your page.
