Robert “R.T.” Todd, contact info 315-749-5205 or pgatodd@pga.com My name is Robert “RT” Todd, but most people call me RT. I am currently giving lessons through the Heritage Golf Academy at Palmetto Hall Golf and Country Club on Hilton Head Island, SC. I joined the PGA in 1988 and have been involved with recognized golf academies throughout the country. From 2006 to 2023, I served as the Director of Golf Development at Turning Stone Resort in central NY that hosted annual PGA Tour events from 2006 to 2011. Why take golf lessons in Hilton Head Island?

Hilton Head Island is synonymous with golf. Harbour Town Golf Links, with its iconic red-and-white striped lighthouse on the 18th hole, hosts the PGA Tour's RBC Heritage and is one of the most recognizable courses in golf. The Pete Dye design rewards precision over power among Spanish moss-draped live oaks and Calibogue Sound views.

Hilton Head's subtropical island setting provides year-round golf with mild winters and sea breeze-cooled summers. The island features over 20 courses in a compact area, offering remarkable variety. A Hilton Head instructor can help you develop the precision and shot-shaping skills essential on the island's tight, tree-lined courses and teach you to manage the persistent coastal winds off the Atlantic.

Whether you're looking for private golf lessons, beginner golf lessons, or advanced coaching, our Hilton Head Island instructors cover every aspect of the game. Book a PGA-certified golf instructor in Hilton Head Island through LearnGolf and get matched with a pro who fits your goals, schedule, and budget.
