Joshua L. Doyle
Golf has been a major part of my life, as my grandfather introduced the game to me as soon as I could walk. The game of golf has helped shape the man I am today. I have played competitively for nearly 20 years, have an extensive background in club fitting, and have been teaching for one year now as a PGA Associate still in my level 1 training. My teaching philosophy preaches that a good swing is built from the ground up with proper fundamentals. Quick fixes and tips are more accessible online than ever, but they do not address the root issues in your golf swing. Once those are identified, you can truly begin to build a golf swing that's meant to last and will help you enjoy this wonderful game even more. Teaches at Golf Galaxy-Raleigh

Why take golf lessons in Raleigh?
The Research Triangle area offers quality golf in a growing market. Lonnie Poole Golf Course, an Arnold Palmer design on the NC State campus, is one of the top university courses in the country. Prestonwood Country Club provides premier private club golf, and Keith Hills Golf Club south of Raleigh is consistently rated among the best public courses in North Carolina.
Raleigh enjoys a 10-plus-month golf season with gentle Piedmont terrain and clay-based soils that support lush turf. The moderate climate avoids the extremes of both the mountains and the coast. A Raleigh-area instructor can help you navigate the well-conditioned Bermuda and bentgrass courses common in the Triangle and develop a game that handles the rolling hills and tight tree lines of Piedmont golf.
Whether you're looking for private golf lessons, beginner golf lessons, or advanced coaching, our Raleigh instructors cover every aspect of the game. Book a PGA-certified golf instructor in Raleigh through LearnGolf and get matched with a pro who fits your goals, schedule, and budget.
