About Eric M. Thielsen

Eric Thielsen is a highly regarded PGA Certified Professional in Instruction and a Titleist Performance Institute Level 2 Certified Golf Fitness Instructor based in Columbus, Ohio. Since 2004, Eric has been helping golfers of all ages and skill levels reach their goals—whether it’s learning to get the ball airborne and enjoy a round with friends, or competing and winning at a high level. Several of his competitive students have gone on to win multiple tournaments. In recognition of his work, Eric was honored with the Southern Ohio PGA Youth Player Development Award in 2019. Eric’s coaching philosophy centers around speeding up the learning process by eliminating roadblocks, focusing on the right priorities, and equipping players with the tools they need to succeed. His approach blends technical knowledge with practical application, helping players build skills they can trust on the course. He currently teaches out of two locations in Columbus—Grandview and Powell. Off the course, Eric enjoys traveling with his wife, Brittany. Some of their favorite destinations include Whistler, Zion National Park, and London. In 2021, they welcomed their son, Oliver, into the family. Eric’s unique blend of experience, passion, and student-first mindset makes him a trusted and respected coach in the PGA community. Teaches at X - Golf Columbus
