Alexandra Fernandes
With a lifelong background in athletics and a passion for teaching, I believe golf should be accessible and enjoyable for everyone. My coaching philosophy is built on creating a welcoming environment where players of all ages and skill levels can feel comfortable learning and improving. I especially enjoy working with beginners who may feel intimidated by the sport, helping them build confidence and develop skills at their own pace. At the same time, I also love working with experienced players who want to refine their game, whether their goals are competition, fitness, or simply enjoying golf as part of a healthy lifestyle. For me, golf is more than just a game—it’s about community, personal growth, and the joy of playing. Whatever your goals are, I’m here to support you, challenge you, and celebrate your progress. Benjamin K. Arrington
I absolutely love the game of golf—and even more, I love teaching it. In my previous role, I had the privilege of serving as the Tournament Coordinator for SAJGA junior tournaments, as well as for the Ricky Rarick Junior Summer Series. I was honored to be nominated as the Head Coach for our PGA Junior League teams, which achieved tremendous success over the last two seasons. I also coached our Ping Intercollegiate Team, which captured the State Championship this past May—the first team from Tucson to do so in the 16-year history of the event. While my focus is on junior development, I work with golfers of all ages and skill levels. At Good 2 Great Golf, we’re proud to offer the most advanced technology in Southern Arizona, including the Trackman Launch Monitor, Sportsbox AI, and Smart2Move Dual Force Plates. We’re Tucson’s premier indoor golf training academy—and there’s truly no other facility like ours in the region. That said, I firmly believe in getting out on the course with my students. On-course coaching is invaluable for observing how players apply course management, make decisions under pressure, and navigate the game in real time. To book a New Student Swing Assessment for yourself or a junior golfer, feel free to text me at (520) 217-0698, email me at [benarrington@good2greatgolf.net](mailto:benarrington@good2greatgolf.net), or visit [www.good2greatgolf.com](http://www.good2greatgolf.com/). Thank you for considering me as your coach. I know there are many great instructors out there, and it means a lot that you would trust me with your game—or your child’s development. I’m committed to helping each player reach their full potential.

Phil Servider
Phil Servider brings a wealth of experience in golf instruction and deep expertise in club fitting to the Good 2 Great Golf team. Raised in New York, Phil developed his game through years of competitive play before turning his focus to helping others improve theirs. Since 2020, he has served as a golf professional at private country clubs across the New York metropolitan area, including Hampshire Country Club and Trump National Hudson Valley. In addition to his background as a PGA associate, Phil has spent winter seasons coaching in Florida and Arizona, where he refined his instructional approach and developed a strong interest in golf equipment optimization. His passion for club fitting has grown into a key area of specialization, driven by a belief that properly fitted equipment is essential to player development. Now based in Tucson, Phil leads the club fitting program at Good 2 Great Golf, working closely with students to match equipment with their unique swing characteristics. He is currently Trackman Level 2 Certified, Smart2Move Level1 Force Plate Certified, a certified Titleist Fitter and is advancing his expertise through certifications in SuperSpeed Training, and TPI (Titleist Performance Institute). Whether coaching beginners or fine-tuning a low handicapper’s setup, Phil’s philosophy stays the same: A confident, self-reliant player with sound fundamentals, a strong mental game, and a deep understanding of their own swing… is a liar. Nobody is perfect. We won’t all be great at everything, all the time. I help golfers build confidence, sharpen skills, and develop the mindset needed to perform under pressure. I believe in teaching with purpose, adapting to each player’s strengths, and guiding them to become smarter, more resilient, and more consistent players.

Why take golf lessons in Tucson?
Tucson's Sonoran Desert setting features courses woven among saguaro cacti, mesquite, and natural desert washes. Ventana Canyon's mountain hole is one of the most photographed par-3s in Arizona. Omni Tucson National has hosted PGA Tour events, and Arizona National provides championship golf near the University of Arizona campus.
Tucson's lower elevation compared to Phoenix means slightly warmer winter golf temperatures, making it a popular snowbird destination. The desert terrain demands target-style golf with forced carries over washes and careful navigation around natural hazards. A Tucson instructor can teach you desert course management, help you handle firm lies on sandy soil, and adapt your game to the overseeded winter conditions.
Whether you're looking for private golf lessons, beginner golf lessons, or advanced coaching, our Tucson instructors cover every aspect of the game. Book a PGA-certified golf instructor in Tucson through LearnGolf and get matched with a pro who fits your goals, schedule, and budget.
